Counseling and Psychotherapy
We understand no two individuals are the same, and we tailor our sessions together to address challenges unique to you. We will work together to understand the root cause of your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you get closer to the life you've always wanted. We provide a wide variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches that meet clients' specific needs and circumstances. This includes grief and loss, significant life transitions, developmental issues, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, trauma, maintaining healthy lifestyles, vocational assessment, and career development.
Mental Health Disorders
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses, and Americans are experiencing anxiety disorders every year more than twice the rate of depressive disorders. Clinical anxiety is often disregarded as ‘being stressed.’ However, while stress is a regular (and at times helpful) emotion, when someone experiences ongoing, long-lasting stress, it impacts their everyday functioning and may be heading towards an anxiety disorder. As the symptom or emotion of stress is considered both a helpful and harmful experience, anxiety disorders are some of the most regularly misunderstood, underrated illnesses, despite being the most common. Our therapy includes prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and more complex disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorders.
Online Therapy and COVID-19
We experience the same social distancing hardships as you do. We have learned to find opportunities in threat, we use that, and it allows us to adapt to challenges and overcome them. All of our services are currently offered by phone or online as telehealth. The process is easy and confidential. It would be best if you had an internet connection and some privacy. Log in at your designated time to an agreed-on video conferencing platform like Skype or Zoom, and from there, it's exactly like an in-person session.
If you're ready to work towards the life you've always wanted, we are ready when you are. Contact us today and let's get to work.
